Nina Emery, associate professor of philosophy at ������ƵCollege, has been awarded the inaugural Anthony J. Lisska Prize from the American Philosophical Association for her exemplary research and teaching.

Suchi Saria ’04 is the John C. Malone Endowed Chair at Johns Hopkins, where she directs the AI, Machine Learning and Healthcare Lab, and was presented with the honorary degree of Doctor of Science at the 2024 ������ƵCollege Commencement.

������Ƶstudent Ava Frost ’26 was selected by NASA for the 10-week Europa ICONS internship program that aims to determine whether there are places below the surface of Jupiter’s moon that could support life.

������ƵCollege Associate Professor Patricia Brennan’s research has revealed the mating method of alpacas to be unlike any other known mammal. During copulation, male alpacas have been found to inseminate females directly into the uterus.

In celebration of Earth Day, ������ƵCollege welcomed Alexis Nikole Nelson to campus as she demonstrated to students, staff and faculty how foraging is not only good for the environment but also beneficial for one’s health.

Six ������ƵCollege faculty members have been selected as recipients of the Marion and Jasper Whiting Foundation Fellowship. The awards will fund travel to further advance their studies, leading to increased opportunities for students.
