Taking Italian on a whim paid off!
It's funny to think that five years ago I took Italian 103 on a whim, and now years later, I am thinking, speaking, writing, teaching, and expressing myself in a language that is not my own but one in which I feel at home.

Studying Italian at ³ÉÈËÊÓƵhas allowed me to continue pursuing my interests in Italian cinema and literature at Boston College. I owe, in large part, my skills as a teaching fellow at Boston College to my experiences as a language tutor, mentor, and language assistant. The years in the romance language department have been formative and I am so grateful to have studied with everyone in the Italian Studies section. The professors have always been my role models.
