Community and collaboration
“During my college search, I knew I wanted to attend a liberal arts college where I could study music.”
“Additionally, I wanted to go to a place where students felt excited for their classmates’ achievements, not threatened by them. Ƶstudents take care of each other and themselves. Everyone has high expectations for what I can achieve. And, in turn, my own expectations for myself have increased.”
“There’s a poster in Dwight Hall with a map of the world ‘upside-down.’ I think that sums up how the Ƶcommunity tries to think critically about the global world. We’re always questioning our assumptions and trying to decentralize the U.S. as our ‘default.’”

Career aspirations: I want to be a full-time, touring singer-songwriter. I already play local gigs and release my music on streaming platforms. In the meantime, while my career gets off the ground, I’m exploring exciting job options such as music journalism and marketing.
