Shaun Marshall studies the properties and transport of radiological materials in the environment to better understand and protect against risks associated with exposure to ionizing radiation. He is interested in using nuclear analytical techniques to investigate environmental transport as well as programming languages and software to simulate radiological transport and evaluate risks. His work specifically investigates the resuspension of radioactive particles, which has been presented to the Health Physics Society. He is an Associate Member of the American Academy of Health Physicists, having completed Part 1 of the Certified Health Physicist (CHP) exam, and is currently working towards full certification.
