Sarah Bent

Prior to joining the PaGE team, Bent was a third and fourth grade teacher at New Hingham Regional Elementary School in Chesterfield, MA. She also worked as a visiting instructor for both the Master of Arts in Teaching and Master of Arts in Teaching Mathematics programs here at ƵCollege. She developed the Math Leadership Program’s microburst series, a free online professional learning series for administrators. She was also an adjunct faculty member at Westfield State University.

She recently served as a collaborating teacher for a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded research project, “Using Routines as a Strategy for Developing Elementary Students’ Conception of Proof.” Videos of Sarah’s classroom teaching have been used around the country for professional learning.
