Sally Durdan ’81

 

Sally Durdan retired in 2020 from a distinguished career in financial services. She most recently served as Executive Vice President and Head of Strategy for the Consumer & Community Banking businesses of JPMorgan Chase and served as a member of the Chase Leadership Team. She played a key role in Chase’s digital transformation, including leading Chase’s program to partner with emerging fintechs and large technology companies entering financial services.

After joining JPMorgan Chase in 2004, Durdan served as Chief Financial Officer of Retail Financial Services from 2007 through 2009 and as Executive Vice President of Corporate Finance from 2004 through 2007. From 2009-2020, Durdan served as executive sponsor of the Women on the Move Interactive Network, the employee networking group dedicated to the advancement of women at JPMorgan Chase. Earlier in her career, she spent 10 years at Citigroup. She began her career as a strategy consultant for McKinsey & Company.

Durdan dedicates her time to serving on nonprofit boards and advising fintech companies. Since 2013, she has served on the board of The Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC). She has been a member since 2007 of the Board of Directors of Graham Windham, a leading children’s services agency serving New York City’s most vulnerable children and families. In 2003, Durdan  was inducted into the YWCA-NYC Academy of Women Leaders.

Durdan received her MBA from Harvard Business School. She pursued doctoral studies in Business Economics as a Dean’s Doctoral Fellow at Harvard. She is the proud mother of two young adult children.
